Mandamus Litigation for
Immigration Delays

A neoclassical government building with tall columns and a wide staircase stands beneath a partly cloudy sky—a classic setting where a mandamus lawyer might advocate for justice.

Mandamus Litigation for
Immigration Delays

A mandamus lawsuit is an option for anyone who is waiting for an unreasonable amount of time for the government to act. A mandamus suit can be filed by any person or entity that has been injured by the government’s failure to act. In other words, any immigrant waiting for USCIS to adjudicate an application. A successful suit will result in the government setting a timely appointment or issue a decision on an application that has been unreasonably delayed.
A mandamus lawsuit is an effective way to compel the government to schedule an asylum interview or issue a decision on an application.
Attorney Jessica T. Arena is experienced at filing these lawsuits. She has successfully litigated these cases throughout the United States. If you have experienced an unreasonable delay and believe you have a right to the immigration relief you requested, please contact Jessica. She may be able to help.
